CHS Christmas Chorus Concert

CHS Show Choir was singing to low and you couldn't understand what they were singing about. I really didn't like the songs that the Choir was singing during the Veterans Day Ceremony.

What are your thoughts on this very odd story? I think its great that she carried the triplets for her daughter that shows she really cares about her family. I also think it is great to give life to babies who mothers couldn't have them.

Veteran's Day

What is it? Its a day where all Veterans who survived any war in the United States come to honor those who lost their lives surviving their country.
Why is it such an important day for you and others? Because we are remembering what happened to those that lost their lives in the war and those that have survived. We also are honoring them for their courage of serviving our great Country

Weekend

What did you do this past weekend? This weekend i went to Westgreen to my boyfriends house. Over there they worked on my dad truck and worked on other vehicles to. Saturday, Me and my boyfriend spent alot of time together and we had a blast and we ate chicken for supper. Sunday, I went to my boyfriends house again to watch his uncle spray paint a car and play with my boyfriends cousins baby and got on the computer to check my myspace. This Weekend (Free write)

This weekend was the National BBQ Festival at Central Square Gym. There were many people at the Festival and There were lots of cooking to. I went to the Festival with my boyfriend me and him had to set where his family had the tent set up. We had a blast we went to the yardsales and just walked around. For the first time i ate Gator meat that some people was selling it was very tastey i ate about two or three of them.

Halloween Costumes that i ever had.

What was the best costume you've ever had at Halloween? When i was little i loved watching movie that had witches playing in the movie. So on Halloween i dressed up like a witch i had the witches black Hat and a kind of Short dress that was a costume that went with the hat. Another costume that i had was a clown outfit. I sprayed my hair different colors like the colors clowns have at the Circus or at a childs birthday party.

What are your thoughts on these research findings? That if we try hard and stay healthy we can live a better and longer life

This weekend was a very good weekend. Friday i went to the movies to watch Saw 5 which it was not as good as movie as i thought it was. Saturday, I went to my Boyfriends house we set outside by the fire cause it was very cold and i was freezing . We also cooked Food to eat and we had fun spending time together. This past weekend was the best weekend ever. I went to my boyfriends house and we went to his uncles house to get money for my boyfriends step dad. Did you watch the debate between McCain & Obama last night? No, I didn't watch the debate last night.

what are your thoughts? I think that Mccain should win the debate and beat Obama out of officce. I also think they should keep the same vote points in the debates and choice to see who has the highest in votes.

Have you met any of the goals on your list at this point? Yes, I am Now Passing Algebra 2 with a B average. I am also passing all my classes with gret averages and improving in all of them.

Did you meet all the goals you set for 1st 9 weeks grades? I didn't meet all of my goals but i have met most of them.

The Weekend

What all did you do this past weekend? This past weekend i went to my boyfriends uncles House to see my boyfriend. Over there, they cooked a hog and we had hog meat and ribs. Saturday, Me and My boyfriend and my dad went to the Founder's Day Festival in Nichols, GA. My boyfriend and I had fun at the Festival,When we left the Festival we went to his house for supper. I love going to bed early, but seldom do. How late do you typically stay up? I normally stay up until 11 o'clock. Some Times I go to bed at 10:00 it according on how tired I am from school.

How did yesterday's Army representatives influence your future choices? I feel more interested in having a job in the nursing position. It influenced me to work hard and feel better about having a job.

Are you now contemplating an army career after high school? No, I do not want to join the army but i may go to the army where they can pay for my college.

Legal Drinking Age

No, The drinking age should stay 21 and not be changed to 18.
Because there are alot of teens that are in school and they are 18 and if they drink and get behind the wheel it can lead to a accident. The pros of being able to drink at 18 is being able to have fun and hang out with friends. The cons of drinking at 18 is being too drunk to drive and swerving off the road and causing accidents.

Should Ms. Gay continue having speakers come into our class? Yes, Miss. Gay should have more speakers.

I think i probably wouldn't like it very much because I really don't want anyone following me around and telling my personal life to everyone. I would welcome the Protection that way no person who be able to throw anything at me or try to start a fight with me. I would love to have security people to help keep me safe when i am on the road or at the white House. There are many thing that i would like about people following me and things that i would not like.

Dog Dials 911, to save Owner

When the dog Buddy called 911 i thought it was increadible that he knew what to do in the case of an emergency and knew that his owner needed help. I think Buddy is a great dog and needs an award for saving the life of his owner. I am also glad that the German Shepherd remembered his training skills and he knew what to do for assistance in an emergency. I think i have a dog just like buddy his name is Shadow he is a very smart dog and with the right training he could probably do what Buddy done. My dog Shadow is very smart he remembers all his commands and he know when to alert if someone is in the yard.

HomeComing 2008

If you're a Junior or Senior, how did this year compare to last year? This year was so much better than last year because i am close to graduating Coffee High School and going to East Central Tech.
Did you go to the parade, game, or dance? Iwent to the parade with my boyfriend there was not much to the parade it was very short and the band members didn't play their instruments their was only a few cars in the band. I also went to the game with my boyfriend. We sat in the stands but it started to get crowded so we left the stands and went to stand beside the fence at the back. There was a bunch of fights at the game people were fighting for no reason. Before the game got over me and my boyfriend and his sister decided to leave the game and go back to the house. at the house we just sat around and watched t.v. intill my dad and my boyfriends stepdad got home. The football game was a great game we beat the other team 24-0. I would love to go to another home game if we ever have one.

Abandoned Baby found at Beijing's Bird Nest toilets

I think it was great that a lady found the baby and told the police that she found it in the bathrooms. I'm glad that the baby is alive and breathing.
I think the mother abandoned the child becuase she probably was scaried or she didn't want the child in her life. I think she is bad mother for leaving her child in the restroom.

What did you think about Brittney Spears performing? I really didn't like the way she sings and i do not like her music. I think she should not be in the spotlight because of the way her life has become.

Sick Days

How do you think this will affect your teachers and you? I think this will affect the teachers in great deal because many of them get sick and need to stay home and get better. I think with teachers here all the time a bunch of students in that class will catch the teachers cold and get sick. I hope that the school can get enough money to cover the substitute teachers because they need to work to. With no substitutes there would be a bunch of sub teachers who will be out of a job and who will not have money.

So far, how do you like blogging? I pretty much like blogging everyday in class and i love expressing my thoughts about different situations. Blogging helps me become a better writer and a much better thinker about different situations.

Republican presidential nominee John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate last week. What are your thoughts on his choice? How will it affect his campaign? Do you think Hillary Clinton's supporters will be drawn to McCain since Palin is a female? I think he chose someone that would be very responsible and someone that would get the job done when things tough like the war and other problems. By causing more people to vote for the woman Vp and less to vote for the man. I think they will look to Palin because she is a female and John McCain is expressing every one as equal.

Teen Pregnancy

As everyone has observed, teen pregnancy has been on the rise over the past 2 years. Why do you think this has happened? I think some of it is accidental some teens just want to act grown up but when it comes to having a baby its harder that they may think. When they want a child they will do what ever it takes to have a child.
On the Maury there was this girl who wanted a baby and she didn't care who the baby was by. She started sleeping around with anyone then when they done an up date on the show she had a baby that was mixed. I think some teens don't mean to get pregnant they just want to act like their friends and fit in with them. When it comes to teens having baby it sometimes falls on their parents to raise their babies.

What is one thing NEW that you have learned this year so far in this computer class? I have learned a short cut to get to powerpoint by going to start and going to programs and to Powerpoint.

What did you all do on your 2 day rain holiday? The past two day that school was canceled i stay at home and watch tv and i also sleep late and talked on the phone. I enjoyed the two days that we didn't have school because i didn't have to get up early. I also got to stay up late and text and talk to my boyfriend without having to get off the phone at a certain time and having to go to bed early.

Tropical Storm Fay

What's the latest? Are you concerned about any weather issues? Do you have relatives or friends that live in FL that are being affected by this storm? There have been floods in Jacksonville, Flordia and there is some parts underwater. Yes, i am very concerened i want to know if the storm is going come here and cause the same damage as it did in Flordia. Yes i have an Aunt that lives in Jacksonville, FL and i have my boyfriends cousins that live in a part of Flordia and that are being affected by Fay.

What did you think about the assembly yesterday? I think the assembly was great becuase in the assembly i learned never to quit when things get tough in school. I also learned to make the right choices when i am choosing to do something. I really didn't like the lights because some of them were way too bright. The band was also singing loud and i couldn't understand ever word that they were singing. I liked being able to miss 4th block and not having to do Algebra 2 work and not having to do math problems.

Why not? some people rather do what they want and not do their work that the teacher has assigned them to do when they were out.

How did the class behave? The class behavior was okay but some people opened the door and just stood at the door way.

What did you observe happening? Some people just played around and didn't do their work but i done all my work in this class.

Thoughts on cheating

What are your thoughts on cheating? I think cheating is wrong because if you cheat on a test you are getting someone elses answers that they are putting on there paper. when you cheat at school on a project you may be coping the other persons project they may have words that are misspelled or even words that are wrong. Cheating is not the way to go on a test if you don't remember the answer try your best in remembering the answer. Cheating may cause you to have a bad grade just for example if someone just wrote down some answer and you write that answer they wrote you may be wrong to.

I really don't like the Olympics being held in China reason why there is alot of bad people the live in china and don't care about other peoples lives.
